According to the draft, the Longan Festival is expected to be held for 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) between July 20 and August 10. It is supposed to see the participation of 50 standard booths and related items, of which: 26 booths displaying fresh longans; 20 booths displaying typical agricultural and rural industrial products of districts, town and city; 2 booths displaying, introducing and selling OCOP products; 2 booths displaying publications promoting the province's culture and tourism and traditional arts performances such as: Tru singing, Trong Quan singing, Cheo singing...

It is expected that the longan festival will be held at Vinhomes Oceanpark 2 Urban Area, Long Hung commune and Nghia Tru commune (Van Giang)...

At the conference, delegates discussed such a number of contents as: Event name, organization time, selection of typical products to participate in the festival, organization scale, propaganda form...

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam requested: Departments, branches and localities need to proactively review and perform well the assigned tasks; boost the propaganda and promotion of typical longans and agricultural products of the province on social network platforms and press and television publications. Localities need to choose good quality, specialty longan varieties and typical OCOP products to participate in the festival to create an impression and affirm the product brand to customers. Sectors: Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Trade need to coordinate with localities to support people in improving the quality of agricultural products, improving packaging designs to enhance the province's agricultural products...
