New regulations on credit information service provision

Specifically, Decree No. 133/2024/ND-CP amends and supplements Clause 2, Article 10 of Decree No. 58/2021/ND-CP as follows: For dossier components that are uncertified copies, not issued from the original book, the credit information company shall present the original (in writing or in another form with legal value equivalent to a document issued by a competent authority as prescribed by law) for comparison; the person who compares shall sign to confirm the copy and be responsible for the accuracy of the copy compared to the original.

At the same time, Decree No. 133/2024/ND-CP also amends and supplements Section 1, Section 4 and the Notes Section of the Summary CV Form in Appendix VI issued with Decree No. 58/2021/ND-CP. Specifically, for Vietnamese citizens, the following information must be provided:

- Full name

- Date of birth

- Identity card number or personal identification number

- Place of birth

- Nationality (existing nationalities)

- Permanent residence address; current residence (in case of a different place of permanent residence)

- Name, address and tax code of the organization that they represent, the capital contribution ratio, represented capital stock (in case of being a representative of capital contribution, capital stock)

- Wife, husband, biological parents, biological children of the declarant (Full name, identity card number or personal identification number (for Vietnamese citizens); passport number or document with passport replacement value, date of issue, place of issue (for individuals who are not Vietnamese citizens)).

In particular, for the information fields: place of birth, nationality, permanent residence registration address, current residence, Decree 133/2024/ND-CP clearly states that the declarant is only required to provide when the official receiving the application cannot exploit the information in the National Population Database.

For individuals who are not Vietnamese citizens, the following information must be provided:

- Full name

- Date of birth

- Passport number or passport replacement document, date of issue, place of issue

- Place of birth

- Nationality (existing nationalities)

- Registered address according to passport or passport replacement document (province/city, district, ward/commune)

- Current residence in Vietnam (province/city, district, ward/commune) (if any)

- Name, address and tax code of the organization that they represent, capital contribution ratio, represented capital stock (in case of being a representative of capital contribution, capital stock).

In addition to the above basic contents, the declarant may add other contents if necessary.

This Decree takes effect from November 1, 2024.
