The Provincial Military Party Committee issues a resolution to lead the implementation of tasks in the last 6 months of 2024

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Military Party Committee has proactively advised the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee to concretize and implement the Central Resolution 8 (term XIII) on the Strategy to protect the nation in the new situation; promulgate documents on the leadership and direction of local military and defense work in 2024; preliminary review the implementation of Directive No. 10-CT/TU dated July 26, 2021 of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee on building and consolidating the defensive combat of the province’s departments, agencies and branches (block B). The Provincial Military Party Committee has led the armed forces of the province to comprehensively complete tasks, many tasks have been completed well and excellently, notably as follows: Focus on directing districts, towns and cities to make a breakthrough in implementing the tasks of building military projects in the district-level defense zone, build the headquarters of the commune-level Military Command; complete 100% of targets for recruiting and enlisting citizens, with good quality; lead to create clear changes in training work. Agencies and units have invested over 2.3 billion VND to replace facilities and learning models; invested over 8 billion VND and more than 600 working days to speed up the progress of building and consolidating the shooting range, training field, command post for practice and drills. The Provincial Military Command has organized 9 provincial-level competitions and sports festivals and participated in higher-level competitions and sports festivals to win high prizes, such as: The first prize in the block of 9 provinces and cities at the training preparation competition; the Fire prevention and fighting sports festival organized by Military Region 3; participated in the mass art festival of armed forces and youth, students at the entire military level (region 2) and ranked the second and were awarded excellent flags by the General Department of Politics...

In the last 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Military Party Committee focuses on leadership to improve the overall quality, qualifications, and combat readiness of the Provincial Armed Forces; advise on completing targets on the construction of military projects in the defense zone at the provincial and district levels and deploy the construction of the headquarters of the Commune-level Military Command; direct and organize well the defense zone for districts: Phu Cu, Van Lam and Hung Yen city; rehearse and command on the map and in the field, with a part of real soldiers at the level of the Provincial Military Command and the Military Command of the districts: Van Giang, Yen My, An Thi, My Hao town and the Regiment 126; coordinate with the Party committees and authorities of districts, town and city to build an all-people national defense associated with an increasingly solid people's security posture, maintain political security, social order and safety to economic development…

At the conference, delegates discussed and focused on clarifying the results achieved in the leadership, direction, and organization of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Committee in the first 6 months of the year; at the same time, determining the main directions and tasks in leading the implementation of tasks in the last 6 months of 2024 with specific targets and solutions.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee evaluated and summarized the outstanding results in the first 6 months of 2024; at the same time, clearly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in leadership, direction, and organization of implementing resolutions of the Provincial Military Party Committee in the first 6 months of the year. Regarding the tasks of the last 6 months of 2024, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Military Party Committee to focus on leadership to improve the overall quality, qualifications, and combat readiness of the Provincial Armed Forces; lead and strictly maintain the combat readiness, ensure safety to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army; actively and proactively advise on the completion of targets on the construction of military works in the defense zone at the provincial and district levels and deploy the construction of the headquarters of the commune-level Military Command; direct the organization of well-organized defense zone in some districts and cities; lead agencies and units to improve the quality of political and ideological education and promptly orient public opinion in the provincial armed forces; focus on leading and comprehensively completing the targets of the resolution of the 15th Provincial Military Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025...
