The Plan to implement Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW dated June 15, 2023 of the Politburo and Plan No. 211-KH/TU dated July 25, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee

On 19/9/2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 139/KH-UBND to implement Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW dated June 15, 2023 of the Politburo and Plan No. 211- KH/TU dated July 25, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on continuing to improve the quality and effectiveness of external information work in the new situation.

Accordingly, the Plan clearly states the following purpose: Implementing the contents of Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW of the Politburo and Plan No. 211-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on continuing to improve quality and effectiveness of external information work in the new situation; which focuses on performing specific tasks to improve the quality and effectiveness of external information work and affirm the Party's correct leadership in external information work. To beef up propaganda, promotion and introduction of images of the land, people, potential strengths, and achievements in all aspects of Hung Yen province to the people in the country, the Hung Yen community in particular, and Vietnamese people in general abroad. Thereby, promoting promotion activities, attracting investment, and socio-economic development. To strengthen coordination between agencies, units and localities in implementing Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW of the Politburo and Plan No. 211-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Committee. At the same time, orienting sectors and localities to conduct external information activities in the new situation to ensure practicality, effectiveness and suitability to the actual situation of the province.

Requirements: The direction, organization and implementation of external information activities must closely follow the content of Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW of the Politburo and Plan No. 211-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party's views and policies, the State's policies and laws on improving the quality and effectiveness of external information work in the new situation. To harmoniously combine external information with domestic information, between Party foreign affairs, State diplomacy and People's foreign affairs. There is close coordination and promotion of the combined strength of all levels, branches, localities and people of all walks of life in implementing the Plan and carrying out external information work according to the regulations of the law. External information needs to come first, harmoniously combining "building" and "fighting". To constantly innovate content and diversify foreign information channels according to the motto "Proactive, synchronous, timely, creative, effective", on focus and suitable for each object, actual situation of the province.

The plan sets out the key tasks as follows: To thoroughly grasp, disseminate and propagate the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's law and policies, and the province's documents on external information work; strengthen coordination between agencies and organizations in information and foreign affairs; review, supplement and improve the legal and institutional system on foreign information; innovate the content and methods of foreign information, focus on introducing and promoting the image of the land and people of Hung Yen province to domestic and international friends; boost the fight and refute false, hostile, distorted and malicious information; strengthen State resources, encourage and mobilize social resources for external information work, especially resources for the activities of agencies directly engaged in external information work.
