The delegation of the province’s cadres offers incense to commemorate ten young female volunteers at the Dong Loc T-Junction special national historical relic site.

Dong Loc T-Junction in Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province is a land that suffered many bombs and bullets during the resistance war against the US to save the country with nearly 43,000 bombs of all kinds, on average each square meter of land here suffered 3 bombs; more than 4,000 martyrs throughout the country have laid down their lives on this sacred land, including the sacrifice of ten young female volunteers at Dong Loc T-Junction on July 24, 1968 while they were on duty to preserve traffic artery connecting the great rear in the North with the great front line in the South.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia and members of the province’s cadres offered incense and flowers at the stele house commemorating the national youth volunteer martyrs and the graves of ten young female volunteers at the Dong Loc T-Junction. Before the heroic spirits of the martyrs, the province’s cadres respectfully bowed their heads and expressed their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of generations of ancestors who devoted their youth and sacrificed for the national independence, the freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the People. The heroic martyrs are forever outstanding examples of patriotism, tenacious will, dedication and sacrifice for the ideals of national independence and socialism of the Party and the nation, the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Yen province vowed to promote the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", actively taking care of the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries better and better; striving to continue to build the homeland to become increasingly rich and beautiful and develop to deserve the great sacrifices of heroic martyrs.
