At the voter-contacting conference, on behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, comrade Dao Hong Van, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation reported to voters the main contents of the results of the 7th Session, 15th National Assembly; the results of resolving and responding to voters' petitions sent to the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly. The 7th session took place in 27.5 working days (phase 1 from May 20 to June 8, 2024; phase 2 from June 17 to June 29, 2024). With the spirit of innovation, solidarity, democracy, intelligence, urgency and high responsibility, the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly has completed the entire proposed program. At this session, the National Assembly has reviewed and decided on personnel work under its authority, socio-economic issues, and state budget; passed 11 laws and 21 resolutions, including 3 legal resolutions; given first opinions on 11 other bills; conducted questioning and answering questions; considered and decided on a number of other important contents...

Attending the 7th session, the delegates in the Provincial National Assembly Delegation focused their intelligence and researched, participated in giving 9 opinions at discussion sessions in the hall, 16 opinions at the group discussion session, 3 rounds of questioning. The comments were carefully prepared by the delegates, with dedicated and intellectual investment, at the same time, there was consultation and discussion within the delegation, in order to fully and promptly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters and people in the province to the National Assembly.

Before and after the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has compiled and sent 40 opinions and recommendations from voters to the National Assembly, the Government and a number of ministries and central branches to respond, resolve according to authority. To date, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has received 30 documents from ministries and central branches responding to 38/40 voters’ petitions.

At the voter-contacting conference, voters of Hung Yen city expressed their joy, excitement and pride when comrade To Lam, an outstanding son of his hometown Hung Yen, was trusted by the National Assembly to be elected as the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. At the same time, proposed such a number of issues as: The National Assembly should soon consider amending and promulgating the Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of fire prevention and fighting and meet practical requirements. Regarding the draft Law on Trade Unions (amended), it is necessary to consider solutions to regulate appropriate payroll management mechanisms, increase the initiative of trade unions in arranging union officials, and meet requirements and tasks in the new situation... Regarding the Draft Law on Juvenile Justice, voters recommended that there should be specific regulations on the measures to handle educational diversion at reformatories; regarding the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Pharmacy Law, voters proposed to consider adding the scope of granting the practice certificates to pharmacists working at the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense to the draft law...
