On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia expressed his pleasure to receive and work with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam, and wished the relationship between the two countries Vietnam - Korea in general, Hung Yen province and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam in particular is increasingly developing. The Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized: In recent times, the province has always received cooperation and support from Korean partners. Currently, there are 157 projects of Korean investors, with a total registered capital of more than 1.1 billion USD. The fields that Korean investors are mainly interested in are: Electronics, refrigeration, mechanics, textiles... the projects of Korean investors coming into operation have contributed to promoting socio-economic development of the province in recent years.

At the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia introduced an overview of the province's geographical location, natural conditions, cultural traditions, history, potentials, strengths and outstanding achievements. Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed: Hung Yen respects and calls on investors from Korea, especially large corporations to accompany the Hung Yen provincial government to research and cooperate in investing in fields that Korean investors have strengths and Hung Yen province has outstanding competitive advantages such as: Processing and manufacturing industry; clean energy, renewable energy; development of digital government, digital economy and digital society; infrastructure, smart urban areas; development of modern agriculture; logistics infrastructure; finance, banking... The Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia hopes that in the coming time, the province will continue to receive support from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam in promoting investment, trade and tourism; strengthening foreign relations, exchanges, and economic development between Hung Yen and Daejeon city (a sister city with Hung Yen province) in particular and other localities of Korea in general.
