To date, the entire commune has more than 15 farm economic models. In 2023, the average income value of one hectare of cultivation in the commune reaches 146 million VND/year. Currently, the commune's total herd of buffaloes and cows has over 180 heads, pigs have over 1,000 heads, poultry has more than 8.4 thousand heads, aquatic product output reaches about 40 tons, by 2023, the total income from livestock reached about 13.4 billion VND. To form concentrated farms and ranches, in recent times, the commune has actively directed people to fully and effectively carry out veterinary tasks according to regulations on disease prevention and control; at the same time, supported for breeds, animal feed and product consumption, created a foundation for households to feel secure in investing, developing large-scale production, applying high technology, and developing livestock production in value chains and ensuring criteria for environmental hygiene, food safety and hygiene... Mr. Luong Huy Manh in Linh Ha village, Nhat Tan commune develops an integrated farm Realizing the efficiency of the farm economy, Mr. Pham Duc Thang in Phu Oanh village started farming. With an area of more than one hectare of available water surface, he raises traditional fish varieties such as common carp, grass carp, mud carp... Boldly applying modern equipment and machinery in the fish farming process has helped Thang have stable income, on average each year he supplies to the market more than 20 tons of fish and meat of all kinds. Mr. Thang said: In the coming time, I will continue to expand the farm land area, invest in more equipment and expand the farming of fish that bring high economic value, in order to create diverse products for the market, increase economic efficiency. With the goal of increasing farming value, gradually diversifying crops on ineffective rice land, increasing land use efficiency, and improving production value, the commune encourages people to actively change crop and livestock structure, participate in trial plantation and selection of new plant varieties with good yield and quality, suitable for the soil. To date, the commune has over 38 hectares converted to growing fruit trees, more than 20 hectares of key fruit trees have been certified to meet VietGAP standards; three models of cooperatives and cooperative groups have been established that operated effectively, attracted a large number of members to participate in. Mr. Luong Huy Manh in Linh Ha village, chooses an integrated farm model to develop his family's economy, he converted nearly one acre of rice cultivation land to develop aquaculture, grow early-ripening longans, and combine construction of livestock and poultry barns. This model helps him "take the short term to support the long term", not have to borrow capital, take advantage of by-products, and reduce costs in the production process. Mr. Manh shared: In the coming time, my family will continue to expand the farm land area, at the same time, regularly make marcotting to sell to households in need, in order to replicate early-ripening longan varieties with good quality and high economic value, make a practical contribution to building new-style rural areas in the commune. However, the economic development of farms and ranches in the commune still has such difficulties as: Most farms are currently small-scale production, lacking links in production; product quality is not uniform; lack of production capital for long-term development; the application of high technology in production, preservation, and processing to improve product quality and value is still limited, so the efficiency is not high; not attracting many businesses to invest. Comrade Pham Quang Tan, Chairman of Nhat Tan Commune People's Committee, said: To continue boosting the economic development of farms and ranches, in the coming time, the commune will continue to strengthen propaganda, dissemination, and policies on household and farm economic development; create conditions for farms to access capital sources, participate in programs and projects to transfer science and technique, technology, crop and livestock varieties, and new products, promote and introduce products; continue to guide and support farms, ranches, and farmers to link and cooperate to establish cooperatives and cooperative groups, build production links, and consume products along the commodity value chain, contributing to promoting production development and stabilizing the consumer market...
