Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien checks the progress of the 500kV transmission line project of Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi thermal power plant at the Pho Noi 500kV Transformer Station (Van Lam).

The delegation came to check the progress of the 500kV transmission line project of Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi thermal power plant at the Pho Noi 500kV Transformer Station (Van Lam).

According to the reports of the units, the 500kV transmission line project of Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi thermal power plant is one of the component projects of the 500kV circuit-3 transmission line from Quang Trach to Pho Noi. The investment project builds a new 500kV 2-circuit transmission line, about 126.9km long, passing through 4 provinces: Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong and Hung Yen; of which, through Hung Yen province, it is about 7.26 km long, including 34 column footing locations in My Hao town and Van Lam district. To date, 34 column footing locations have been handed over to contractors for construction with a total column footing land area handed over of 4.06 hectares. For the line corridor, by May 31, 2024, the province has handed over to the investor 26/26 spans and corridor of the 500kV transmission line.

Regarding construction items, the province is simultaneously performing 4 construction packages. To date, the construction unit has completed construction of 34/34 foundations; 11/34 columns have been built, 23/34 columns are being built; finished pulling the rope of 1/26 spans...

Speaking at the inspection, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien acknowledged the efforts of the province and contractors in implementing the 500kV transmission line project of Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi thermal power plant. At the same time, the contractor is requested to coordinate with units and localities to continue to accelerate project construction progress, ensure the project progress and quality.
