Cuong Blind Trade Village

Blind making job is a traditional job in Da Quang village (Traditionally called as Cuong village), Di Che commune, Tien Lu district. Through many years of development, this traditional job is still maintained. Currently, about 250 labourers participate in the blind making job with yearly average production output of 120,000 and 150,000 blinds; the turnover is between VND 1.5 and 1.8 billion and the average income per labourer is VND 250,000 – 300,000 per month. Rattan blinds are used by many rural households; however, the consumption rate of rattan blinds only remains and even gradually reduces because nowadays, people in rural areas can afford plastic blinds and glass shutter instead.
