At the meeting, the Department of Finance presented the following contents: draft report on assessing the implementation of the state budget revenue and expenditure tasks in 2024; state budget estimate in 2025; 3-year state budget and financial plan 2025 - 2027; draft report on the allocation plan of local budget estimates for 2025; draft submission on the approval of task requirements and budget estimates for purchasing assets, equipment, renovating, upgrading, expanding, and building new construction items in invested construction projects of provincial agencies, units, and districts, town, and city of Hung Yen province in 2025.

According to the draft reports at the meeting, the total state budget revenue in the province in 2024 assigned by the National Assembly and the Government is 32,823 billion VND, of which import-export revenue is 3,700 billion VND, domestic revenue is 29,123 billion VND. By the end of October, the total budget revenue in the area reached VND 34,746 billion, equal to 105.8% of the assigned estimate, of which import-export revenue reached VND 3,755 billion, domestic revenue attained VND 30,991 billion. It is estimated that for the whole year of 2024, the total budget revenue in the area reaches VND 39,446 billion, equal to 120.1% of the assigned estimate. Regarding budget expenditure, by the end of October 2024, the total local budget expenditure is over VND 20,793 billion, reaching over 69% of the local budget expenditure estimate in 2024.

Based on the assessment of the results of revenue implementation in 2024, the Central Government assigned the state budget revenue in the province in 2025 to be VND 44,923 billion, of which domestic revenue is VND 40,623 billion, import-export revenue is VND 4,300 billion. Total local budget expenditure in 2025 is over VND 40,665 billion.

The delegates basically agreed with the draft submissions and reports presented at the meeting, and at the same time gave their opinions to complete and clarify the contents of the draft submissions and reports.

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the contents of the draft reports and submissions presented by the Department of Finance; at the same time, requested the Department of Finance and departments, branches and localities to focus on implementing well the solutions on state budget revenue and expenditure. It is necessary to nurture and exploit revenue sources well, especially budget revenue from production and business activities of enterprises and investors.
