Delegates attend the VPSF 2026 – Hung Yen province local dialogue round.
It saw the participation of Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the Central Commission for External Relations, and Honorary Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; and Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation and Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association. Regarding Hung Yen province it drew the attendance of members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board: Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; Mr. Vu Kim Cu, Head of the Management Board of the Provincial Economic and Industrial Zones; and Mr. Vu Ngoc Tri, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
Mr. Dang Hong Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, and Chairman of the Vietnam Private Sector Forum 2026, delivers the opening remarks.
At the forum, leaders of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association emphasized that Hung Yen province is facing new development opportunities, with more favorable conditions to redefine its position within the Northern economic region. Leveraging its proximity to Hanoi, its industrial foundation, and its infrastructure system, Hung Yen possesses significant potential to integrate industry with logistics, urban development with services, and manufacturing with the maritime economy, as well as to participate more deeply in value chains. From the business community's perspective, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association suggested the directions that the province might consider for the upcoming period as follows: developing domestic enterprises alongside attracting investment, and further refining coordination mechanisms based on the principle of "one task – one point of contact – one deadline – one result."
Delegates participate in the forum's open dialogue session.
Affirming the private sector's vital role in the province's socio-economic development, Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated that the province aims not merely for rapid growth, but for high, sustainable growth driven by science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, integrated infrastructure, high-quality human resources, and enhanced business competitiveness. He proposed six key topics for the dialogue: candidly addressing bottlenecks hindering investment, production, and business operations; the solutions for Hung Yen enterprises to scale up and boost competitiveness; shifting from simple investment attraction to developing production ecosystems and value chains; leveraging science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence as new growth drivers; developing integrated infrastructure to expand development space; and fostering a business environment that is truly transparent, equitable, and predictable.
Mr. Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, speaks at the forum.
The Standing Vice Chairman directed the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, with relevant departments, agencies, and localities, to fully acknowledge the feedback from the dialogue, categorize the issues, and clearly define responsibilities and deadlines for resolution. Addressing the business community, he expressed a desire for entrepreneurs to continue sharing with the province not only their difficulties and obstacles but also new initiatives, innovative models, best practices, and breakthrough proposals. Hung Yen province commits to continuing to listen to, accompany, share with, and take action alongside businesses, regarding business success as one of the most important benchmarks for the administration's operational effectiveness.
The VPSF 2026 – Hung Yen Provincial Dialogue Round featured such two main components as: the presentations by economic experts and business leaders, followed by a panel discussion and open dialogue involving Mr. Nguyen Le Huy (Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee), leaders of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, and economic experts. Conducted in a spirit of openness, receptiveness, and partnership, the session focused on practical issues of concern to businesses, fostering discussion, analysis, and the identification of feasible solutions. The event marked a significant shift from a mindset of merely submitting proposals to seeking the removal of obstacles toward one of policy co-creation. This approach aligns with the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and key strategic resolutions of the Politburo, specifically Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on making breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on reforming law-making and implementation to meet national development needs in the new era; and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private sector development. The opinions, recommendations, and initiatives from the dialogue will be consolidated and analyzed for inclusion in the comprehensive report of the Vietnam Private Sector Forum (VPSF) 2026. This report will be presented at regional and high-level sessions, contributing to the formulation of increasingly practical and effective policies that support the business community.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Honorary Chairman of the Hung Yen Young Entrepreneurs Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green i-Park Joint Stock Company, delivers a presentation at the forum.
