Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam inspects the site clearance work of key projects
On the morning of October 15, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the site clearance work of the Khoai Chau Golf Course Urban and Ecotourism Complex Project and the Project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River in the communes of Chau Ninh, Khoai Chau, Me So, and Van Giang.

According to reports from localities, the area to be recovered to hand over for the implementation of the Khoai Chau Golf Course Urban and Ecotourism Complex Project covers: Chau Ninh commune 500 ha; Khoai Chau commune 82 ha. For the project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River: Khoai Chau commune 24.7 ha; Chau Ninh commune 19.5 ha; Me So commune 38.47 ha; Van Giang commune 18.37 ha.

Up to now, the above localities have basically completed the handover of the area managed by the People's Committees of the communes to the construction unit; at the same time, speeding up the implementation of the steps to recover according to regulations for the area used by households and individuals.
At the inspection areas, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, commended and acknowledged the efforts of the communes in site clearance to serve the province's two key projects, and discussed and gave opinions to the commune leaders on specific issues and recommendations arising during the land acquisition process in the locality.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the communes in the land acquisition process need to create the best conditions for the people, but on the basis of strictly complying with the provisions of the Land Law and the province's regulations on compensation and support when acquiring land; step up propaganda work to help people understand and comply with the policy of site handover; at the same time, affirm that the province will resolutely handle the acts of taking advantage of policies in compensation, support and site clearance.
