To recognize 16 communes proposed to meet the standards of advanced new-style rural communes and model new-style rural communes
The Provincial People's Committee on February 19, held a meeting of the Council for Appraisal, Recognition of communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards and model new-style rural standards for the 2021-2025 period in Hung Yen province (the Appraisal Council) to discuss and vote on the consideration and recognition of communes proposed to meet advanced new-style rural standards and model new-style rural standards in the second phase of 2024. Comrade Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Appraisal Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates listened to a report on the completion of some limited contents according to the conclusion of the Chairman of the Appraisal Council at the conference to review and recognize communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards and model new-style rural standards in the first phase of 2024; the report on the results of the appraisal of communes proposed for consideration and recognition of meeting advanced new-style rural standards and model new-style rural standards in the second phase of 2024 and the results of collecting opinions on people's satisfaction with the results of building advanced new-style rural area and model new-style rural area in localities...
In the second phase of 2024, in the whole province there are 19 communes proposed for consideration and recognition of communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards and model new-style rural standards. The provincial new-style rural appraisal team has assessed and appraised the records and the level of meeting each criterion in localities, ensuring objectivity and accuracy. In localities, the rate of people satisfied with the results of building advanced new-style rural area and model new-style rural area is from 93% or higher.
At the meeting, 100% of the members of the Appraisal Council agreed to propose the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to recognize 16 communes meeting the standards of advanced new-style rural communes and model new-style rural communes in the second phase of 2024, of which 4 communes were recognized as meeting the standards of advanced new-style rural communes; 12 communes meeting the standards of `model new-style rural communes.
