To promote the potential and investment opportunities in Hung Yen in Korea
On November 14, the 20th meeting of the Vietnam - Korea Intergovernmental Committee was held in Seoul (Korea). On the sidelines of the meeting, the delegation of Hung Yen province led by Mr. Doan Hong Ky, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, had many activities to beef up the potential, strengths, and investment opportunities of the province, while promoting specific cooperation contents with the Korean side.

During the working trip, the delegation of Hung Yen province introduced an overview of the favorable investment environment, the system of 53 industrial parks and 117 industrial clusters, in which many projects have the successful participation of Korean enterprises; affirms that Korea is a leading important investor with 197 valid projects, contributing greatly to the socio-economic growth of the province.
In addition to investment promotion activities in the fields of high technology, supporting industry, infrastructure - smart urban areas, Hung Yen province also pays special attention to ODA development cooperation. Currently, the province is carrying out investment procedures for investment projects, upgrading, renovating and purchasing machinery and equipment for Tien Hai General Hospital and Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital using ODA loans from the Korean Government.
The content "Funding for investment projects, upgrading, renovating, purchasing machinery and equipment for Tien Hai General Hospital and Thai Binh Traditional Medicine Hospital, Hung Yen province using ODA loans from the Korean Government" has been included by the Ministry of Finance in section 4 - ODA development cooperation, labor in the Exchange Program at the Session. Adding this content to the forum is considered necessary to gain support from ministries and central branches as well as attract attention from Korean funding agencies, contributing to promoting the early completion of procedures for the project to be implemented.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the delegation of Hung Yen province also worked with many large Korean corporations, expanding friendly cooperation with the localities of Deajeon and Shiheung and seeking cooperation opportunities in labor, education - training, infrastructure and technology.
The proactive participation of the delegation of Hung Yen province at the 20th Intergovernmental Committee Meeting has contributed to continuing to affirm the image of a dynamic, friendly locality, ready to accompany the Korean business community in strategic cooperation areas in the coming time.

Previously, the delegation of Hung Yen province visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea. At the meeting, the delegation discussed with the Embassy about the potential and orientation of socio-economic development of the province; information about the fields that Hung Yen is prioritizing to attract investment such as high-tech industry, clean industry, logistics infrastructure, smart cities, high-tech agriculture. The delegation requested the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea to continue to support and act as a bridge to promote cooperation between Hung Yen province and Korean localities, organizations and enterprises; actively introduce and promote the investment environment and investment calling projects of the province to the Korean business community; at the same time, continue to coordinate, accompany and support the province in connecting with Korean agencies, associations and enterprises, contributing to boosting substantive and effective cooperation in many fields.
