In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation offered incense and flowers to express their infinite gratitude for the contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of the Vietnamese people, a world cultural celebrity, a revolutionary soldier who devoted his whole life to and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. 80 years ago, on September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, opening a new era, an era of independence and freedom for the Vietnamese people.
