Phu Duc commune was established on the basis of merging An Bai town and the communes: An Thanh, An Ninh, An My, An Vu. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the local economy has developed comprehensively, the economic structure has shifted positively. Small-scale industry - construction, trade - services develop rapidly and sustainably, contributing to a strong shift in economic and labor structure. Budget revenue has achieved high results, creating a strong resource for investment in synchronous development of socio-economic infrastructure, actively contributing to the construction of new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas. The total production value of the commune in 2025 is estimated at 3,336 billion VND. The average growth rate is 11.63%/year, the average income is 82.6 million VND/person/year.

With five key tasks and three development breakthroughs, in the period of 2025 - 2030, Phu Duc commune’s Party committee focuses on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committee and organizations, building a clean and strong Party committee and political system. To comprehensively develop the socio-economy, ensure national defense and security, strive for an average economic growth rate of 12.3% or more, and an average income per capita of 114.3 million VND/year. Every year, the Party committee of the commune and 100% of its subordinate Party cells complete their tasks well or better, the government is strong, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations complete their tasks well or better.

At the Congress, the list of the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Phu Duc commune’s Party committee for the 2025-2030 term was announced, as appointed by the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board.
