To deploy the tasks in 2025 of the Planning and Investment sector
The Ministry of Planning and Investment on December 28, held a conference combining in both face-to-face and virtual forms to summarize the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025. At the Central bridge point the conference drew the attendance of comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister. At the Hung Yen’s bridge point, the conference saw the presence of comrade Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

With its position and role as a comprehensive and strategic advisory body of the Party and State, in 2024, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has proactively advised and proposed solutions, mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties, promote production and business, accelerate disbursement of public investment capital, ensure social security, develop growth scenarios, seize recovery opportunities and create new momentum for the country's economic development...
In 2024, the Ministry has promptly researched, monitored, assessed and forecasted the situation closely, thereby actively advising the Government and the Prime Minister on solutions that are scientifically and practically based, focused, deep and flexible, suitable for short-term and medium-term requirements to achieve the goals of socio-economic development, economic growth, and beef up the disbursement of public investment capital. The Ministry has advised competent authorities to issue many important resolutions, directives and circulars, which serve as the basis for implementation. At the same time, it is assigned to be the standing agency or to play the role of chair and focal point for 7 working groups to inspect, urge, remove difficulties and obstacles, and promote disbursement of public investment capital at ministries, central agencies and localities...
In 2025, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has set out 10 key tasks and solutions to successfully complete the goals and tasks as follows: Continue to direct and operate resolutely to complete projects and tasks assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister; continue to boost administrative procedure reform; advise the Government and the Prime Minister to continue to cut and simplify regulations related to production and business activities to facilitate support for businesses and investors to easily enter the market in accordance with the law; focus on developing regional socio-economics and strengthening regional linkages; resolutely accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital; speed up the construction progress of important and key national works and projects; continue to review policy mechanisms to promptly advise on adjustments and handle practical issues arising in public investment management...
At the Conference, leaders of ministries, branches and localities discussed and clarified the results, limitations, causes, and lessons learned in the work of the Planning and Investment sector, at the same time proposed and recommended solutions in the coming time.
Speaking at the Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of leaders, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the Planning and Investment sector, contributing significantly to the country's achievements in 2024.
