At the meeting, the Department of Home Affairs submitted a Proposal on the dismissal and recommendation for election of additional members of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a proposal to dismiss the member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 17th term, 2021-2026 period for comrade Vu Van Kien, former Director of the Department of Home Affairs, due to his being transferred and assigned to other tasks; proposed to elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 17th term, 2021-2026 period for comrade Dao Hong Van, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation in charge of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the province’s Party agencies, Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment presented the Reports on: the Draft Decision promulgating regulations on the area, location, and purpose of construction works directly serving agricultural production on rice-growing land in Hung Yen province; issuance of a Decision regulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Management Board of investment projects in construction of agricultural works and rural development; Center for Water and Agricultural Techniques; Sub-Department of Cultivation - Plant Protection; Sub-Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development; Sub-Department of Dike Management - Natural Disaster Prevention; Sub-Department of Rural Development; Sub-Department of Livestock - Veterinary Medicine under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hung Yen province.

The Department of Science and Technology presented the Report on the draft Decision to abolish decisions issued by the Provincial People's Committee in the field of science and technology.

At the meeting, the delegates basically agreed with the content submitted by the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Science and Technology. At the same time, they commented on some contents of the submission of the Department of Agriculture and Environment such as: The necessity of issuing a Decision to promulgate regulations on the area, location, and purpose of use of construction works directly serving agricultural production on rice-growing land in Hung Yen province; the necessity of issuing a Decision to stipulate the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the departments and branches under the Department of Agriculture and Environment...

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van agreed with the content submitted by the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Science and Technology. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed not to issue regulations on the area, location, and purpose of use of construction works directly serving agricultural production on rice-growing land in Hung Yen province because they are not suitable to the actual situation of the province; agreed to issue a Decision regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the departments and branches under the Department of Agriculture and Environment, at the same time requested the departments and branches to absorb the opinions of the delegates, promptly complete the decisions and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for promulgation.
