At the meeting, on behalf of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, comrade Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council reported on the results in socio-economic development, the Party building work and the provincial political system in 2024. In 2024, the province has achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields. Most socio-economic indicators have met or exceeded the set targets: GRDP growth rate is estimated to increase by 7.7%; industrial production index increases by 10.48%. The major economic balances and potentials of the province continue to be more firmly consolidated. Budget revenue is estimated at over 40 trillion VND, seeing an increase of 24% compared to 2023. The whole province has 100% of communes meeting the advanced new-style rural standards, the rate of communes meeting the model new-style rural standards is over 30%; the material and spiritual life of the people, social welfare continue to improve, the poverty rate decreases to 0.44%... Local defense and military work is strengthened; political security, social order and safety in the whole province are ensured. The work of building the Party and the political system continues to be focused on, thereby creating consensus in awareness and action in the entire Party Committee and the entire people.
