The social housing construction investment project in Phu Xuan residential area launched

On the morning of November 8, the Provincial People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the social housing construction investment project in the planned land of Phu Xuan residential area, Tran Hung Dao ward.

The groundbreaking ceremony drew the attendance of comrades: Tran Quoc Vuong, former Member of the Politburo, former Standing member of the Secretariat; Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee; former leaders of the province; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

The social housing construction investment project in Phu Xuan residential area, invested by Damsan Joint Stock Company, was carried out on a land area of nearly 1.3 hectares, with a total investment of 680 billion VND, belonging to the 20% land fund of the total 10.5-hectare Phu Xuan urban area. The project consists of two buildings with 15 floors above ground and one basement, with a total floor area of over 58,000m², providing 546 social housing apartments and 36 commercial service apartments, synchronous social infrastructure such as schools, cultural houses, sports areas, green parks, trade - services, traffic system and parking lots. When it is completed, the project will meet the housing needs of about 1,800 people, mainly workers, laborers, low-income people, policy beneficiaries and young families, contributing to ensuring social security and promoting the development of civilized and modern urban area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The Phu Xuan residential area social housing project is not only a social security project, but also an important milestone in the journey of urban development for people and the common prosperity of the province. This is a concrete demonstration of the Party and State's major policy on social housing development, especially in the context of Hung Yen implementing Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 on piloting specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development.

To ensure the progress and quality of the project, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, localities and investors to closely coordinate and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process; at the same time, the investor and contractor are required to concentrate resources, human resources, equipment, strictly implement regulations on construction investment, technical standards, ensure labor safety, traffic safety and security and order in the construction area.

The representative of Damsan Joint Stock Company - the project investor expressed his honor to accompany the province in the social housing development program; at the same time, committed to performing the construction on schedule, ensuring quality, aesthetics and safety, striving to complete and put the project into use soon, contributing to realizing the goal of building Hung Yen province to develop rapidly and sustainably.
