In 2026, the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 1 is assigned to be the investor for 60 projects, with a total investment of VND 49,777 billion; of which, 39 public investment projects are under construction; 21 public investment projects are currently in the planning stage. As of June 8, 2026, the unit's disbursement progress has reached 12.4% of the 2026 capital plan (attaining 14.7% compared to the initial capital plan). However, the disbursement progress is still slow compared to requirements, mainly due to the obstacles in land clearance in some localities; scarcity of construction materials and fluctuating prices; and some contractors with limited capacity and slow construction progress, affecting disbursement results. At the meeting, delegates discussed and clarified the causes of the existing problems, and proposed solutions to overcome them, especially in land clearance, ensuring material supply, and improving contractor capacity.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 1 to focus on decisively directing and closely monitoring the progress of each project; coordinate closely with departments, agencies, and localities to overcome difficulties and accelerate land clearance, construction, and disbursement of public investment capital. He emphasized that the assignment of tasks must ensure clear tasks, responsibilities, authority, timelines, and expected results; and resolutely handle the responsibility of collectives, individuals, and contractors who violate regulations, delay progress, or fail to ensure the quality of the works. The Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 1 should proactively urge contractors to take advantage of the time and start construction as soon as the land is cleared, ensuring the progress of the projects. Relevant departments and agencies should shorten the time for appraising procedures; proactively advise on flexible management solutions to overcome difficulties in material supply and price fluctuations, contributing to achieving the public investment disbursement target in 2026.
