The Provincial People's Committee signs a Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation with Vietnam Airlines for the period of 2026 - 2030

On the afternoon of December 8, the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines) held a conference to sign the Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation for the period of 2026 – 2030 at the Headquarters of the Provincial People's Council - Provincial People's Committee. Attending and chairing the signing ceremony were comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. On the side of Vietnam Airlines, it saw the presence of comrade Dang Ngoc Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines Corporation. In the attendance were comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches of the province and leaders of Vietnam Airlines Corporation.

After watching an introduction video on the potential and strengths of Hung Yen and introduction of Vietnam Airlines, the two sides discussed and agreed on the contents of cooperation. Accordingly, Hung Yen province and Vietnam Airlines will promote cooperation in promoting destinations, organizing national and international events; supporting the use of products and publications introducing Hung Yen on Vietnam Airlines's means and services such as Heritage Magazine, in-flight videos, and displaying publications at tourism and trade promotion events; at the same time, the two sides will coordinate to promote and consider bringing specialties, agricultural products, and typical craft village products of Hung Yen province into use in Vietnam Airlines' airport lounges and catering services when they meet the standards.

The strengthening of coordination between Hung Yen province and Vietnam Airlines in the fields of tourism - aviation - trade - investment will contribute to effectively exploiting the province's potential and advantages; at the same time, expanding activities to promote culture, tourism, and local images domestically and internationally.

Comrade Dang Ngoc Hoa, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, pledged to support the province in investment, trade and tourism promotion programs at home and abroad; consider policies on ticket prices, baggage, and cargo transportation to serve the province's working delegations. In addition, Vietnam Airlines will coordinate to promote digital transformation applications, build technological products to serve tourism and trade promotion in the province.

Highly appreciating the proactive coordination of Vietnam Airlines in the process of building cooperation content, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the period of 2026 - 2030 between Hung Yen province and Vietnam Airlines is of great significance, opening a new phase of more comprehensive and substantive cooperation between the two sides. He affirmed that in the context of the province accelerating and making a breakthrough after the reorganization of administrative units and building new growth poles, strengthening the connection with leading corporations and enterprises such as Vietnam Airlines will create a great driving force for socio-economic development.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said: After the merger, Hung Yen will not only expand its administrative space but also resonate with its potential and strengths, especially its historical, cultural and traditional values. However, in order for these values to be widely promoted and attractive, it is necessary to have the "extended arm" of national airlines, especially Vietnam Airlines with a wide service ecosystem, a comprehensive flight network and strong brand reputation. This cooperation will help Hung Yen expand its trade and tourism promotion space, connect domestic and international markets, especially spread more widely the image of Pho Hien heritage - a 400-year-old ancient port city with a system of craft villages and typical specialties.

He believes and expects that with the companionship of Vietnam Airlines, the potentials and advantages of Hung Yen will be exploited more strongly, contributing to boosting economic growth, enhancing the position and image of the province on the national and international tourism and trade map.
