At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy expressed his joy at meeting again the leaders of the China Pacific Construction Group to study and learn about the investment environment in Hung Yen province.

Generally introducing the potential and strengths of the province in the current period, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Hung Yen has a lot of room and potential for industrial development, especially after merging with Thai Binh province. In addition to cleared land, ready to attract investors in industrial parks and industrial clusters, Hung Yen has an Economic Zone with a space for economic development towards the sea. Currently, in Hung Yen province, there are 890 foreign projects, of which 286 projects come from Chinese investors and territories with a total registered capital of 3,962 million USD, 200 Chinese projects have come into operation with a total investment capital of about 2,773 million USD, creating jobs for about 50,000 workers. That the projects of investors from China come into operation, actively contributes to boosting the socio-economic development of the province.

Sincerely thanking the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches for the warm welcome, Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, Founder of the China Pacific Construction Group, To Thuong Group, Chairman of Trang Nghiem Research Institute and members of the delegation hoped that through this working session, the Group would continue to connect with departments, branches and localities of Hung Yen province to coordinate in carrying out research and survey work as well as performing projects in the province.

Briefly introducing the China Pacific Construction Group, Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa said: The Group is one of two enterprises under Trang Nghiem Research Institute established in 1986 specializing in the field of investment, construction, management and operation of infrastructure. Up to now, the China Pacific Construction Group has directly participated in investing and constructing over 1,000 urban areas and 3,000 high-tech zones in China. In recent years, the China Pacific Construction Group has actively expanded its overseas market, especially strengthening exchanges and cooperation with 10 ASEAN countries, Central Western Asia and Central Eastern Europe. Since 2017, the Group has begun to promote investment and cooperation with Vietnam and is currently implementing a number of projects related to transport infrastructure in a number of provinces and cities.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged, discussed and sought investment cooperation opportunities in the Group's strengths, in line with the province's development orientation in the coming period.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy expressed his impression of the remarkable development of the China Pacific Construction Group in recent years, notably the cross-forest and cross-mountain traffic projects that the Group has implemented. Hung Yen is always open to welcome FDI investors in general, and the China Pacific Construction Group in particular, to cooperate and invest in the locality; at the same time, he hoped that the Group would bring its great experience and strategic vision to accompany the province in solving difficult problems, especially for potential projects such as deep-water port projects, railway projects, etc.

For the Group's proposals, Hung Yen province is very interested in and will have specific and appropriate studies in the coming time. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to be the focal point for guiding, exchanging information and supporting the Group when researching and surveying investment in the area as well as assigning departments and branches to advise on specific policy mechanisms.
