The Provincial People's Committee listens to report on the progress of Khoai Chau Golf Course Urban and Ecotourism Complex Project

The Khoai Chau Golf Course Urban and Ecotourism Complex Project (the project) covers a total planning area of ​​over 888.5 hectares located in three communes, of which Chau Ninh commune is over 673 hectares, Khoai Chau commune is over 208 hectares and Chi Minh commune is 7.31 hectares. The project is divided into 4 sub-areas, including an ecological residential area associated with a high-class golf course; an eco-residential area associated with an eco-golf course, the commercial and service urban area and green area,the  theme park. The project is invested by Hung Yen Investment and Development Corporation Joint Stock Company.

To ensure the progress of the project, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the communes and investors to speed up the progress of site clearance, at the same time directed the departments and branches to promptly guide and remove difficulties and obstacles for the localities. However, the progress of site clearance is still slow compared to the plan, not reaching the expectations.

At the meeting, leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities focused on discussing and clarifying the difficulties and obstacles in the process of project implementation; discussing solutions to speed up the progress of site clearance as well as the overall progress of the project.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than emphasized: This is a large project, of great significance to the socio-economic development and foreign relations of the province, which is of special interest to the provincial leaders. Therefore, all levels, sectors and localities must raise awareness, promote responsibility, have high determination, coordinate closely and strictly comply with the direction of the province.

To speed up the project's progress in the coming time, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, sectors and localities to raise awareness of the meaning and importance of the project, thereby boosting responsibility, compliance with the law and regulations and the leadership and direction of the province during the project implementation process.

Assigning specific tasks to relevant departments, sectors and localities, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to focus on completing the land recovery notice before October 6; for public land and the land that has been counted, focus on completing the plan before October 8; for the entire agricultural land area, complete the approval of the compensation plan in October; at the same time, notify and conduct the steps according to regulations for land area and other types of land.

The communes where the project is located and the information and communication agencies of the province focus on doing a good job of propagating the meaning and importance of the project, mechanisms and policies to create the highest consensus of the people. The Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center implements site clearance; promptly detects and handles cases of taking advantage of State policies for profiteering and violating the law; mobilizes maximum human resources to the grassroots, closely coordinates with local authorities to carry out site clearance according to the set progress milestones; takes responsibility before the Provincial People's Committee if there are delays in the implementation of tasks.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment assigned specialized staff to coordinate with the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and communes to focus on removing difficulties and related problems, periodically reporting the results of working settlement to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee. The Provincial Public Security urgently directed the assessment of the current status of the entire project; presided over and coordinated with forces and localities to grasp the situation at the grassroots level, promptly detected and handled cases of violations, policy profiteering as well as the antisocial behaviors during the project implementation process.

The investor closely coordinated with departments, branches and localities in the process of site clearance, prepared funds, human resources and means to be ready to carry out the project to ensure the set progress.
