Currently, the difficulty for this project is the lack of resettlement land fund and some households have not received compensation.
For the project to develop new urban housing in Tan Binh commune and Tien Phong ward (Thai Binh ward), the clearance of agricultural land has reached nearly 99%. Currently, 88 households have land certificates to establish and re-post compensation plans; 11 households with partially recovered land are reviewing the affected area for handling. The main problem of the project is the treatment of residual waste at the old waste plant, the relocation of enterprises in Phong Phu industrial cluster and arrangement of waste transfer locations.
For the project to develop new urban housing in Kien Giang (in Tran Lam, Vu Phuc, Tran Hung Dao wards), the localities have agreed on land users of 1,453/1,526 households, counted the assets of 1,231 households and posted compensation plans for 1,068 households. Wards are speeding up the planning and resettlement arrangements for 73 households whose residential land was recovered.
