The Provincial People's Committee holds a meeting to give opinions on important issues.
On the morning of May 25, comrades Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to give opinions on the implementation of several important transportation projects. The meeting saw the participation of members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of several departments and agencies.

At the meeting, the Department of Construction reported on the plan for implementing the North-South arterial road from the Ring Road No. 3.5 to the coastal area of Hung Yen province and the road connecting Hung Yen province with Gia Binh airport; the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 02 reported on some difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the investment and construction of the road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune and the road from Pho Hien ward to Hung Ha commune.

Based on the discussions of the delegates and the directives on the above content, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Comrade Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that departments, agencies, and localities should promote a sense of responsibility, strengthen coordination, and closely monitor the direction and management; promptly address difficulties and obstacles arising during the project implementation; simultaneously, the meeting urged contractors to concentrate manpower and equipment, accelerate the construction progress of key transportation projects, and expedite the disbursement of public investment capital to promote the province's socio-economic development. Departments, agencies, and localities need to strengthen coordination with neighboring provinces and cities in researching options for connecting inter-regional transportation infrastructure; review land resources and create resources to serve investment in key projects in the coming period.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, basically agreed with the proposals at the meeting; they requested departments, agencies, the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 2, and the consulting unit to continue reviewing and perfecting the route plan, investment scale, and carefully study the connection and intersection points along the entire route, ensuring synchronization, inter-regional connectivity, and alignment with the province's socio-economic development orientation; expedite the completion of documents and procedures to implement projects as planned.
