Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to research and adjust the Project on Strengthening Environmental Protection, Proactive Disaster Prevention and Adaptation to Climate Change in Hung Yen province for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045; the project for restructuring, developing, and improving the efficiency of the agriculture, fisheries, and rural sectors in Hung Yen province for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045, and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration. It needs to analyze and clarify the current situation of the province to propose specific solutions for various sectors and localities; and serve as a basis for mobilizing resources to implement the project. The project's development must be linked to the province's overall development orientation for each stage. The project's content needs to clarify the issues on implementation process, with specific data analysis, comparison, and evaluation.

Regarding the draft regulations on compensation rates for crop and livestock damage and support for livestock relocation when the State reclaims land in Hung Yen province, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to continue gathering opinions from local officials directly involved in land clearance work and to incorporate feedback from relevant departments and agencies to finalize the draft. A holistic approach is needed when determining the principles for regulating compensation rates; overly fragmented regulations should be avoided, as they can be difficult to apply in practice. Compensation and support rates from the former Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces should be balanced to establish reasonable ones that are practical and easy to implement.
