The Provincial Party Executive Committee conducts the election process for the Provincial Party Secretary
On the afternoon of April 9, at the Provincial Party Committee’s Headquarters, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to conduct the personnel process for electing the Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; to introduce personnel for leadership positions in the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee; and to provide a quick update on the results of the second Plenum of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The conference drew the attendance of comrades: Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. In the attendance were delegates from the Central Party Committees, the Central Inspection Commission, and the Central Party Office; members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and members of the Provincial Inspection Commission.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province, emphasized: In accordance with the Central Party Office's document announcing the Politburo and Secretariat's approval of the nomination of candidates for the election of the Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, the Provincial Party Executive Committee organized this conference to implement the personnel procedures in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the Central Committee. He requested the Provincial Party Executive Committee to strictly and thoroughly implement the procedures and processes regarding personnel work, ensuring consistency, democracy, objectivity, openness, transparency, and compliance with regulations. Following this, the Provincial Party Executive Committee proceeded to elect the Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. As a result, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term with 100% of the votes.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, presides over the voting process for the Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Following this, the Provincial Party Executive Committee introduced candidates for leadership positions in the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term. The conference unanimously nominated Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term, to be elected to the position of Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term by the Provincial People's Council. The delegates voted to nominate Comrade Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, to the position of Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term; and to nominate candidates for the positions of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

At the conference, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc provided a brief update on the results of the second meeting of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
