At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia provided an overview of the province's socio-economic development results, the Party building work, and political system in 2025, as well as some major orientations for the future.

In 2025, Hung Yen province successfully reorganized its administrative units, established a two-tier local government, and held the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term amidst a mix of opportunities, advantages, and challenges.

Under the leadership and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the decisive management of local Party committees and authorities, along with the active participation of all sectors of the population and the business community, the Party Committee, government, and people of the province have strived to overcome difficulties and challenges, gaining comprehensive achievements in the fields of socio-economic development, Party building, and the political system.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that these achievements are the culmination of many generations and periods, including the contributions of the efforts and intellect of former provincial leaders and former members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee from various periods. With a spirit of openness and willingness to learn, the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee wishes to continue listening to the opinions and sharing of the comrades, offering valuable ideas and experiences to contribute to the province's development in the coming period and to achieve the goals set forth in the Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress.

At the meeting, former provincial leaders expressed their joy and enthusiasm at the results the province has achieved in the past, at the same time proposed several leadership and guidance solutions to improve the effectiveness of Party building, the political system, and socio-economic development so that Hung Yen province would develop rapidly and sustainably.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that the former provincial leaders and former members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee from various periods have made a lot of contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation, and the development of the province. The heartfelt speeches and valuable experiences shared by the comrades are a great source of encouragement, helping the Party Committee and the people of the province to continue to move steadily forward on the path of innovation and rapid, sustainable development. Building on the revolutionary and cultural traditions of Hung Yen province, the Party Committee, government, and people of the province have been striving to maintain political steadfastness, promote the strength of great unity, and enhance the capacity and fighting spirit of Party organizations and members; uphold the Party's principles and strict discipline, build a dynamic and rapidly developing economy to achieve the goal of becoming a province with a modern industrial base, meeting the criteria of a Class 1 urban area by 2035, a smart and ecological city directly under the Central Government, and a modern economy among the leading group nationwide by 2045.
