According to the report at the conference, Hung Yen province has 35 industrial parks planned for development with an area of ​​over 12,000 hectares, of which, by 2030, 30 industrial parks will be developed with a total area of ​​nearly 9.6 thousand hectares; after 2030, 5 new industrial parks will be developed. Up to now, 10 industrial parks have been established, put into operation and received secondary investment projects; 2 industrial parks have been established but not yet put into operation; 7 industrial parks are being established and adjusted for construction zoning plans. In 2024, the industrial parks have cleared more than 72 hectares, the State has leased 280 hectares, and built infrastructure for about 620 hectares. The occupancy rate of the area of ​​industrial parks established according to the provisions of the law on investment is 57.4%. Currently, the industrial parks in operation have 636 valid investment projects. The average investment rate is 6.8 million USD/hectare.

Next, the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment reported on the development of industrial clusters in the province. Hung Yen is planned to develop 50 industrial clusters by 2030. To date, the Provincial People's Committee has decided to establish 24 industrial clusters, with a total area of ​​over 1,148 hectares. 7/24 industrial clusters have been selected by the Provincial People's Committee as key projects of the province in the period of 2021 - 2025. 16 industrial clusters are carrying out site clearance, with a total area of ​​over 898 hectares. To promote the development of industrial parks and industrial clusters, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested: Departments, branches and localities immediately start to overcome and remove difficulties and obstacles to accompany and support investors in developing industrial parks and industrial clusters; the Party committees, authorities and state management agencies at all levels should raise awareness and consciousness, considering the development of industrial parks and industrial clusters as an investment attraction strategy with the goal of building Hung Yen province into an industrial province; strengthen propaganda and dissemination to the people about the role, position and importance of developing industrial parks and industrial clusters to create consensus in site clearance. Site clearance is the responsibility of local authorities, so localities must mobilize the participation of the entire political system.
