There were about 2,000 questions, opinions and proposals sent to the Government and the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated the achievements that Vietnamese farmers have achieved in the past year. In the challenging context of natural disasters, epidemics and fluctuations in agricultural product prices, Vietnamese farmers have demonstrated their resilience, creativity and responsibility for the country's development. Sharing with farmers about the difficulties that the agricultural sector is facing, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Government always accompanies, listens to farmers and takes action to remove obstacles and provide timely support.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this year's dialogue conference has a very practical theme, which is a valuable opportunity for delegates to exchange, listen and join hands to find appropriate solutions to promote agricultural economic development and build rural areas in Vietnam. Thereby, both farmers and management agencies will have a unified awareness and action, not to be passive, but resolutely accelerate and make a breakthrough in 2025.
The Prime Minister directed ministries, branches and localities to quickly deploy solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, create conditions for farmers to confidently invest in production and business. In the coming time, the Government will focus on directing the construction of regional linkages, building value chains, boosting digital transformation in agriculture, developing ecological agriculture, modernizing rural areas and improving the cultural and intellectual life of farmers. These efforts are not only aimed at solving immediate problems but also at the long-term goal of working with farmers to arouse their aspirations to get rich, develop a prosperous and happy country, and confidently enter a new era...
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested that ministries, branches and local authorities pay special attention, grasp the reality, and regularly listen to the thoughts and aspirations of farmers. For newly arising problems or difficulties and concerns of farmers, agencies need to proactively research, propose and carry out timely, practical and effective support solutions. In addition, relevant ministries and branches fully synthesize farmers' opinions and recommendations to continue researching, amending, supplementing and perfecting mechanisms and policies to serve the development of agriculture, farmers and rural areas. This not only meets practical needs but also ensures consistency with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws. The Government expects that Vietnamese farmers - the core force of the agricultural economy - will continue to promote the tradition of diligence and creativity, becoming a strong driving force in the process of building a prosperous and happy country.
