In the organizational arrangement, the Ministry has streamlined the structure from 23 to 18 units; carried out decentralization between the Central and local levels according to the direction of the Government, helping to manage education flexibly and effectively. The quality of education at all levels continues to be improved. The 2018 general education program has been implemented synchronously from grades 1 to 12. The 2025 high school graduation exam is the first exam under the 2018 general education program to be organized safely and objectively.
The key education has achieved impressive results, in which Vietnamese students won two second prizes, one third prize, three fourth prizes, and five special prizes at the International Science and Technology Competition.
