According to the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, despite the turbulent global context, Vietnam's international integration work in 2025 achieved positive and comprehensive results. Under the close guidance of the Party and Government, the implementation of Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2025, of the Politburo on international integration in the new situation has created a strong shift in the thinking and actions of the entire political system. Economically, Vietnam has achieved record-breaking achievements with total import and export turnover expected to reach US$920 billion and GDP growth exceeding 8%, bringing the size of the economy to approximately US$510 billion. Integration in politics, defense, and security continues to be strengthened through upgrading relations with 17 partners and actively participating in United Nations peacekeeping operations. In addition, significant milestones have been attained in science and technology, innovation, culture, and education, contributing to enhancing the country's position and soft power on the international stage. Looking ahead to 2026, Vietnam continues to aim for deep and substantive integration, with people and businesses at the center, for sustainable and self-reliant development.
In 2025, Hung Yen province's international integration efforts achieved positive results, making a significant contribution to promoting socio-economic growth and enhancing the province's position. The province's GRDP is estimated at over 166 trillion VND, seeing an increase of 8.78%, placing it among the top 10 high-growth localities nationwide.
Hung Yen continues to affirm its position as an attractive destination for investors with over 4,000 active projects, including 941 FDI projects, with a total registered capital of over 17.2 billion USD. In 2025 alone, the province attracted 162 new projects, with a total newly registered and adjusted investment capital of nearly 141 trillion VND and over 630 million USD.
