The speech by the leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission at the meeting clearly stated: On January 5, 1966, amidst the fierce resistance war against the US, the Central Steering Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam issued Resolution No. 133/NQ-TW establishing the Central Legal Affairs Commission - the predecessor of the Central Internal Affairs Commission today. This is a significant milestone, demonstrating the Party's strategic vision in strengthening leadership over internal affairs and legal work, contributing to protecting the Party, the State, and the People, and maintaining political and social stability.

To suit each period and stage, the organizational structure and functions and tasks of the Party's internal affairs sector have been adjusted and reorganized accordingly. Over the past 60 years, the Party's internal affairs sector has continuously matured in all aspects, increasingly demonstrating its role as a reliable advisory body to the Party on internal affairs, combating corruption, wastefulness, and negative phenomena, and judicial reform.

In Hung Yen province, throughout various periods, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission has been strengthened; the professional and technical skills of its officials and staff are sufficient to effectively perform their assigned tasks.

Under the direct leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission has consistently played a strong advisory role in internal affairs, combating corruption, wastefulness, and negative phenomena. In particular, as the standing agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena, the Internal Affairs Commission has actively and proactively provided effective advice on measures to prevent corruption, wastefulness, and negative phenomena; and has coordinated in directing, detecting, and promptly handling cases of corruption, wastefulness, and negative phenomena. Through this, it contributes to maintaining political stability and social order, creating a favorable environment for the socio-economic development of the locality.

With these contributions, the Internal Affairs Commission of the Provincial Party Committee has been evaluated as having excellently fulfilled its duties for many years; it has been recognized and awarded prestigious honors by the Party, the State, and the Provincial Party Committee.

Building on the tradition of 60 years of development and growth, the internal affairs sector of the Party in Hung Yen province continues to affirm its determination to maintain political integrity, improve the quality of its advisory services, and meet the requirements of the tasks in the new development stage, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia acknowledged and praised the efforts and achievements of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission and the provincial Party's internal affairs sector, affirming that the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission has made a significant contribution to Hung Yen province's achievements. Specifically, it has advised the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and the Provincial Party Committee's Standing members on the timely and comprehensive implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on internal affairs, combating corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices, and judicial reform, in accordance with the local situation.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the provincial Party's internal affairs sector and the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission continue to improve the quality of their advisory work, strengthen coordination with relevant agencies to promptly advise the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing members, and the Provincial Steering Committee on internal affairs, anti-corruption, wastefulness, negative phenomena and judicial reform; at the same time, promptly and effectively handle complex issues related to national security, social order, and safety, prevent the emergence of "hot spots"; link internal affairs work with the province's socio-economic development tasks in the coming period. They should coordinate with prosecuting agencies to review and advise the Provincial Steering Committee to include a number of corruption, wastefulness, and negative cases that are of public concern under monitoring and guidance for strict resolution and handling.

In addition, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission actively advised the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee on leading, directing, and effectively implementing the Politburo's conclusions on the viewpoints and policies in handling land violations; addressing delayed projects; advising on solutions to improve the effectiveness of preventing corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices; and handling citizen complaints and denunciations.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that leaders, officials, and civil servants of the provincial Party's internal affairs sector continuously cultivate and hone their political acumen and moral character; bravely defend what is right, fight with integrity, and especially be honest and exemplary in their duties performance.
