The meeting between voters and candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council in electoral unit No. 8
On the morning of March 6th, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province organized a meeting between voters and candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, in electoral unit No. 8 in Hung Ha commune. The candidates included: Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Election Steering Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Phong, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee’s Office; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Mr. Tran Van Thuong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hung Ha commune; Mr. Tran Van Tra, Deputy General Director of Huong Sen Group Joint Stock Company; Mr. Dang Ngoc Thang, specialist in the Party Finance Division, the Provincial Party Committee’s Office; Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thai, specialist in the Organization - Administration Division, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Vu Hong Phuong, a teacher at Le Danh Phuong Kindergarten (Hung Ha commune).
The conference saw the participation of members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board: Le Xuan Tien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee; Nguyen Le Huy, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The meeting was held in face-to-face form at the main bridge point in Hung Ha commune and connected online to the bridge points in the communes of Le Quy Don, Long Hung, Ngu Thien, Tien La, and Hong Minh.
At the meeting, representatives from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented brief biographies of the eight candidates for the 18th Provincial People's Council in electoral unit No. 8.

Candidates presented their action plans if elected by voters as representatives to the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term. In their action plans, the candidates focused on fulfilling their responsibilities in their respective positions; actively participating in the decision-making process regarding policies and solutions for socio-economic development; promoting investment attraction, creating growth momentum, and ensuring social security. The candidates affirmed that they would maintain close contact with voters; listen to, absorb, and honestly reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the people to the relevant authorities; and promote the role and responsibility of each agency and unit in various fields, contributing to building a prosperous, civilized, thriving, and happy Hung Yen province.

Voters attending the meeting expressed their interest and appreciation for the candidates' action programs; they also made several suggestions related to urban infrastructure development, accelerating the implementation of projects, improving the quality of life for the people, and promptly resolving social issues. Voters expressed their confidence and hope that, if elected, the candidates will continue to demonstrate their capabilities and responsibilities, contributing to the overall development of the locality.
On behalf of the candidates, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Election Steering Committee, clarified some issues of concern to the voters and affirmed that the candidates will strive to fulfill their roles as elected representatives, addressing issues of concern to voters regarding environmental pollution, sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring social security policies, and reviewing and adjusting planning. To regularly engage with the grassroots, maintain close contact with voters; focus on effectively implementing tasks and solutions for socio-economic development so that voters and citizens can have a better and happier life.
