The Land Fund Development Center under the Provincial People's Committee established
The Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee’s Party Committee and members of the Provincial People's Committee on March 17, had a meeting to review and give opinions on a number of important contents, at the Headquarters of the Provincial People's Council - the Provincial People's Committee. Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee’s Party Committee chaired the meeting. In the attendance were the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial People's Committee’s Party Committee, members of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of leaders of a number of the province’s departments, agencies and branches; leaders of districts, town and city.

At the meeting, the Department of Agriculture and Environment presented the following draft decisions and reports: Merging the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development with the Center for Technical Consulting on Irrigation and Dike into the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development; renaming the Department of Dike Management and Flood and Storm Prevention into the Department of Dike Management - Natural Disaster Prevention and Control; renaming the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Products Quality Management into the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development; establishing the Department of Animal Husbandry - Veterinary Medicine; establishing the Department of Cultivation - Plant Protection; establishing the Department of Rural Development; establishing the Center for Water and Agricultural Engineering. These 7 units are under the Department of Agriculture and Environment. At the same time, the draft decision and report were presented to merge the Land Fund Development Center with the Center for Technical Resources and Environment into the Land Fund Development Center under the Provincial People's Committee.
Delegates attending the meeting agreed with the contents of the draft decisions and reports submitted by the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
In his concluding remarks, Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee’s Party Committee agreed with the draft decisions and reports submitted by the Department of Agriculture and Environment. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment continue to review, rearrange, and streamline the departments and specialized units under the department; pay special attention to the operations of the departments and units after the rearrangement, ensuring continuity, meeting the requirements, and using the budget effectively and economically.
