Molex Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of the Molex Group, a leading global enterprise in the electronics sector and an innovator in interconnect technology. The Hung Yen facility is Molex's second factory in Vietnam; whose construction began in late March 2025 on a 250,000-square-meter site. It features a modern design with spacious area, well-equipped facilities, and energy-saving solutions. Once operational, the Molex Hung Yen plant will boost production capacity for high-tech products, meeting the growing customers’ demand in the high-speed data center sector. Currently, the factory employs nearly 5,000 workers, which is expected to rise to 8,000 by the end of 2026.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly commended the determination and efforts demonstrated by the Molex Group and Molex Vietnam Co., Ltd. over the recent period. He expressed confidence that the Molex Hung Yen plant would operate stably and efficiently, supplying high-quality products to both Vietnamese and international markets, thereby contributing to the industrial development of Hung Yen province, particularly in the high-tech electrical and electronics sectors.

He affirmed that Hung Yen province regards the success of investors as its own success. The province remains committed to supporting Molex Vietnam Co., Ltd. throughout its investment, production, and business operations, while urging the company to strictly comply with both Vietnamese laws and provincial regulations.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, along with relevant departments, agencies, local authorities, and other entities, continue to provide support and create favorable conditions for the Molex Hung Yen plant’s stable and efficient operation, helping to foster an attractive and reliable investment environment. He directed them to assist the investor of Thang Long II Industrial Park in expediting expansion procedures and regularly compile a summary of any difficulties or obstacles faced by the enterprise for timely review and resolution by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
