In 2025, Hung Yen strives to collect 44,923 billion VND in the province's budget, of which 40,623 billion VND is domestic revenue and 4,300 billion VND is from import-export activities. According to the assessment of the Provincial Tax Department, through monitoring the factors of budget increase and decrease due to the impact of mechanisms, policies, economic growth rate in the locality over the years and the results of the implementation of the State budget collection task in 2024, the budget collection task in 2025 is very heavy. However, with high determination, the Hung Yen tax sector continues to enhance its sense of responsibility, strengthen the management of state budget collection, prevent revenue loss and tax arrears, especially those related to land and resources; strengthen inspection and handling of cases of intentional tax evasion, procrastination and tax arrears; pay attention to propaganda and education on tax compliance awareness for people and businesses. In addition, the tax sector continues to perform digital transformation and apply information technology more strongly and drastically in tax management to reduce compliance costs and provide maximum support to people and businesses such as: Electronic tax declaration and payment, electronic tax refund, electronic invoices, etc.
The Provincial Tax Department will advise the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee to continue to lead and direct relevant sectors and units to coordinate in removing difficulties, obstacles, and bottlenecks to unblock all resources and reform administrative procedures, create a favorable environment to attract more investment, create motivation for businesses to grow and contribute more to the provincial budget.
