The investment project to build a housing area for low-income people in Yen My II Industrial Park is located in Yen My commune, covering an area of nearly 31 hectares, invested by Hoa Phat Yen My Development Joint Stock Company. The project has a total investment of more than VND 4,900 billion, building 27 apartment buildings, providing about 9,000 houses, with a scale of about 11,500 people, mainly workers working in Yen My II Industrial Park and neighboring industrial parks in Hung Yen province. In addition, it will have 250 townhouses and commercial and service works, cultural houses, medical facilities, schools, etc. The project strives to be completed by the end of 2028.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The groundbreaking of the construction of housing for workers and social housing in Yen My II Industrial Park is an important milestone on the development path of Hung Yen province, a symbol of the spirit of unity and solidarity between the government, businesses and people for the goal of social security and happiness of workers, laborers and people in the area. The project does not only stop at the meaning of social security, but also contributes to realizing the major policies of the Party and State on social housing development. At the same time, the groundbreaking project also carries the following message: Hung Yen not only focuses on industrial development, investment attraction, but also attaches special importance to the human factor, those who directly create the value of development. A spacious, fully-equipped home with reasonable prices will help workers and laborers feel secure in their long-term commitment to the enterprise, improve labor productivity, thereby directly contributing to the economic growth of the province. Along with that, the synchronous and modern planning of social housing areas also creates a civilized, green - clean - beautiful urban face, enriching the image of a dynamic and livable Hung Yen. Hung Yen province commits to continue to closely coordinate with ministries, central branches and relevant units to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles; create the most favorable conditions in terms of procedures, infrastructure and construction conditions so that the project can be completed on schedule, ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, meeting people's expectations and in line with the province's development goals.
