The forum on science - technology, innovation and digital transformation in Hung Yen province

The forum drew the attendance of comrades: Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on science - technology development, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06; Members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, branches and localities.

The forum saw the presence of Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Director of the National Data Center, Vice Chairman of the National Data Association; leaders of provinces and cities in the region; representatives of technological corporations, research institutes, universities, investment funds and the business community in the fields of science - technology, digital transformation.

In his opening speech, comrade Pham Van Nghiem, the Provincial Party Committee’s Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: In the context of the strong spread of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, data has become a strategic resource, the "fuel" of the digital economy and digital transformation. The data economy development is not only an inevitable trend but also a core driving force to improve labor productivity, competitiveness, promote innovation of growth models and more effective governance. For Hung Yen, the data economy is of particular importance in the period when the province is boosting industrialization and modernization, towards building a digital government, digital economy and digital society. This is the foundation for the province to increase the efficiency of management and administration, support businesses to innovate, develop new industries, create high-quality jobs and aim to build Hung Yen into a modern, civilized and prosperous industrial province.

The forum affirmed the strategic vision and high political determination of Hung Yen province in concretizing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; at the same time, it is a practical action contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, making science - technology, innovation and digital transformation as the main driving force, one of the three development breakthroughs of the province in the new period.

At the forum, the Provincial People's Committee and the National Data Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation, agreeing to deploy specific actions within 90 days, including: 10 cooperatives applying the NDA Trace platform, 200 tourism businesses participating in the Visit Hung Yen platform, 100% of departments and branches have a focal point in charge of data, piloting 2 IOC operating boards; within 180 days, 50 sets of open data of the province will be made public and the SOC Information Security Monitoring Center will be put into operation at 24/7. On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee launched the Hung Yen Virtual Assistant Platform.

The forum included two working sessions with such practical contents as: announcing the Hung Yen Provincial Data Architecture, demonstrating 5 important data platforms serving socio-economic development; the discussion "Innovation in the data economy" with the participation of scientists, experts and businesses, focusing on discussing startups, venture capital, data management, intellectual property protection and the Hung Yen startup incubation program.

Within the framework of the forum, a Digital Experience Exhibition was held with 11 booths of strategic partners such as Viettel, VNPT, MISA, VietinBank, MobiFone, Vietcombank, TH True Milk, Loca AI..., that introduce the solutions on data, digital agriculture, smart tourism, virtual assistants and green energy.
