As part of a series of activities to commemorate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), a delegation of Hung Yen provincial cadres on July 13, came to offer incense and flowers to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Truong Son Martyrs’ Memorial Temple - Long Dai Ferry (Quang Tri province) and the special national historical site of Dong Loc T-junction (Ha Tinh province). The delegation of provincial cadres came to offer incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Truong Son Martyrs' Memorial Temple - Long Dai Ferry in Truong Ninh commune, Quang Tri province. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, hundreds of soldiers, youth volunteers and people heroically sacrificed here to keep the transportation route to the southern battlefield open. There is a memorial stele house to commemorate 16 youth volunteers from Hung Yen who heroically sacrificed at Long Dai Ferry in 1972.
In Ha Tinh province, the delegation of provincial cadres came to offer incense and flowers at the special national historical site of Dong Loc T-junction. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, this place suffered nearly 43,000 bombs of all kinds; more than 4,000 martyrs nationwide fell on this sacred land. Among them were the sacrifices of 10 female youth volunteers at Dong Loc T-junction on July 24, 1968 while they were on duty to maintain the traffic artery connecting the great rear area in the North with the great front line in the South.

Before the souls of the heroic martyrs, the comrades in the delegation respectfully bowed, expressing their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the generations of fathers and brothers who devoted their youth and sacrificed for the independence of the nation, the freedom of the Fatherland, and the happiness of the people. Inscribing the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, the members of the delegation vowed to continue to strive, unite, and build the homeland and the country to become increasingly prosperous, strong, and civilized.
