The delegation from Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China pays a working visit to Hung Yen Province

According to the leader of Thang Long Import-Export Investment Joint Stock Company - Dragon Group, the enterprise has been recently operating mainly in three groups of fields: construction industry, commercial services, real estate with the projects being implemented effectively in provinces and cities across the country. The enterprise has been successfully cooperating with Wangneng Environmental Joint Stock Company, a member of Mizuda Group in Huzhou city, in the project of investing in a solid waste incineration power plant in Thai Thuy commune and cooperating in distributing cars to Chinese car manufacturers. The solid waste incineration power plant project has a total investment capital of 62 million USD, started construction in June 2025, expected to be put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a design capacity of at least 600 tons of domestic solid waste/day, and a power generation capacity of 15MW.

Through the working session, the company hopes to continue to exchange, speed up the implementation of the projects being cooperated as well as expand cooperation opportunities to other fields which the enterprises of Huzhou city have strengths.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Stanidng Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed, acknowledged and highly appreciated the initial results in the cooperative relationship between Hung Yen province and Huzhou city. With a lot of favorable conditions after the merger, Hung Yen province is becoming an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the two sides continue to coordinate to implement and soon put the solid waste incineration power plant project in Thai Thuy commune into operation. With the importance of promoting cooperation between localities, he hoped that after the working session, the leaders of Huzhou city and its business community would continue to research and invest in Hung Yen province. Thereby, further strengthening the spirit of solidarity and good friendship between the two localities as well as actively contributing to the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China.

Mr. Lian Kunming, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Mayor of Huzhou city, expressed his impression and appreciation for the comprehensive development of Hung Yen province in recent times. At the same time, an overview of Huzhou City was introduced, this is one of the 14 key cities of the Yangtze River Delta region, a city with a strongly developed high-tech industry, contributing significantly to making Zhejiang Province one of the economic locomotives of the eastern region of China. Zhejiang also plays an important role in the traditional friendship between the two Parties and the two countries of Vietnam and China, and is the place where President Ho Chi Minh visited many times. The cooperation between Huzhou City and Hung Yen Province brings a lot of opportunities and potential for sustainable development for both sides. Huzhou City will create the most favorable conditions for its business community to continue to cooperate as well as research and invest in Hung Yen Province in the coming time.
