With the attention and direction of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee, in 2023, the Provincial Tax sector implemented quite comprehensively all aspects of work and completed the task of the state budget collection. In particular, the Provincial Tax Department has resolutely carried out measures to manage state budget collection, created a "transparent - civilized - modern" working environment, strongly digitized tax management, created favorable conditions for taxpayers to fully and promptly enjoy support policies to restore and develop production and business, and contribute to the state budget.

In 2023, the total domestic budget revenue in the province reached VND 28,745 billion, exceeding 57.8% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. Excluding land use fees, the total domestic revenue reached VND 22,928 billion, exceeding 147.3% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. In the first 10 months of 2024, the Provincial Tax Department has completed the task of the State budget collection in 2024.

Recognizing the contributions of enterprises, individuals, and taxpayers in striving to recover and develop production and business, create jobs for workers, and comply with tax policies and laws in 2023, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Certificates of Merit to 24 collectives, the General Department of Taxation rewarded the Certificates of Merit to 17 collectives, and the Provincial Tax Department awarded the Certificates of Merit to 111 collectives and individuals.

At the conference, representatives of enterprises reflected and discussed such issues as: How to calculate value added tax; electronic invoices; tax exemption and reduction policies; authorizing the settlement of personal income tax from wages and salaries of employees moving from other localities to the province in 2024...

The opinions of business representatives at the conference were directly answered by the leaders of the Provincial Tax Department in accordance with the provisions of law.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Mai Xuan Thanh, General Director of the General Department of Taxation and Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the contributions of businesses to the overall socio-economic development. At the same time, he commended collectives and individuals who have complied well with tax laws and policies, actively contributing to the State budget in 2023.

Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van emphasized: In recent years, Hung Yen province has always created favorable conditions for enterprises to invest, develop production and business, prioritize receiving enterprises in industrial parks, and support investment incentives for enterprises according to regulations. In order to attract investment and help enterprises facilitate production and business, the Provincial People's Committee directed local authorities and functional branches to continue to pay attention to and remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises, improve the business environment, and enhance the effectiveness of administrative procedure reform associated with digital transformation. Regarding the provincial Tax sector, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that tax management continues to be resolutely and effectively implemented; actively supports and guides enterprises in performing tax policies and laws.
