The Hung Yen Industrial Park No. 2 project covers an area of ​​over 235 hectares with a total investment of over 2,800 billion VND. This is the third industrial park and the first supporting industrial park developed by Hoa Phat Group in the province. The project boasts a favorable location with convenient transportation connections to seaports and international airports; it is oriented towards attracting supporting industries, electronics and telecommunications, precision mechanics, automation, semiconductors, and high-tech fields. According to the plan, the industrial park will have a comprehensively modern technical infrastructure system, including a 110/22kV transformer station, a clean water supply system with a capacity of 20,000 m³/day, a centralized wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 7,000 m³/day, and green spaces and water bodies accounting for nearly 14.2% of the total area. The investor committed to mobilizing resources to focus on completing the technical infrastructure to quickly attract secondary projects into operation, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: After the merger, Hung Yen province has completed the adjustment of the Provincial Master Plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, with a spatial economic development orientation including three dynamic areas and a strategic transportation infrastructure system connecting the North to the South of the province. In the first quarter of 2026, the province's GRDP growth rate reached 10.43%, placing it among the top four localities with the highest growth rate nationwide. To maintain a double-digit growth, the province is focusing on accelerating the progress of investment projects, especially industrial parks and clusters.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Industrial Park No. 2 - Hung Yen is an important project, contributing to creating more opportunities to attract investment and promote the socio-economic development of the locality. To ensure the project to become operational soon, he requested that the departments, agencies, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, and the governments of Yen My, Viet Tien, and Xuan Truc communes continue to create the most favorable conditions for the investor during the project implementation; proactively resolve difficulties and obstacles, and shorten the time for handling administrative procedures. Regular inspections and guidance are being provided to ensure the construction of industrial parks is civilized and modern, meeting the criteria of being bright, green, clean, and beautiful. The Provincial Industrial Park Management Board is strengthening its efforts to supervise and coordinate in the resolution of arising obstacles, and promptly advising on solutions to accelerate project implementation. Regarding investors, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Manh Quyen, requested that they focus maximum resources to accelerate the construction of the industrial park's technical infrastructure; proactively attract secondary investors into production and business, maximize land use efficiency and investment effectiveness, and contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality and the province in the coming period.
