Three investment projects in transportation infrastructure construction were commenced, including: The project to build overpasses and ensure traffic safety on the road connecting the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway with the Gie bridge - Ninh Binh Expressway. It was approved by the Provincial People's Committee on August 11, 2025; the total investment is over 729 billion VND; the implementation period is from 2025 to 2027; it is implemented in 6 communes and wards including: Yen My, Viet Tien, Luong Bang, Nghia Dan, Xuan Truc, Hoang Hoa Tham, and Pho Hien.

The project to build Cuu An 1 Bridge (right) and Cuu An 2 Bridge (left) on the road connecting the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway with the Gie bridge - Ninh Binh Expressway. It was approved by the Provincial People's Committee on March 20, 2025, and belongs to the group of level II transportation projects; the total investment is over 403 billion VND; the implementation period is from 2025 to 2026; it is implemented in Luong Bang commune.

The project to invest in the construction of the provincial road No. 382C the section from the intersection with the provincial road No. 387 to the central axis road of the southern urban area of ​​the National Highway No. 5. The project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee on June 30, 2025; with a total investment of over 456 billion VND; the implementation period from 2025 to 2027; and is implemented in Duong Hao ward.

These are important projects for the province's development, aiming to complete the essential transportation infrastructure of Hung Yen province in particular and the region in general according to the approved plan; they are important driving forces contributing to the successful achievement of the socio-economic development targets set forth in the Resolution of the 1st Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam requested the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 (the investor) to closely and decisively manage the quality, progress, and investment capital throughout the implementation process, ensuring that the projects are implemented on schedule, with quality, and in strict compliance with the law. For construction contractors and design consultants, it is necessary to mobilize the most modern equipment and select experienced personnel to carry out the project, ensuring technical, aesthetic, and safety standards. For communes and wards, it is necessary to continue focusing on completing the remaining land clearance work and promptly hand over cleared land to the construction contractors.

Equipment and machinery have been assembled and are ready for construction.
