The 6th Nguyen Van Linh Press Awards 2024 saw the participation of 114 works, seeing an increase of 28 works compared to 2023. Of which, news broadcasting have 51 works, print newspapers have 19 works, and electronic newspapers have 20 works and audio newspapers have 24 works. This year, in addition to the group of prizes for the group of authors, the group of authors has works published in all types of newspapers in the province and the Cultural and Radio Centers of districts, town and city, the prize has expanded to include people from other provinces with works written about Hung Yen with 7 central press agencies submitting works.

According to the assessment of the Organizing Committee, the quality of the participating works is improved, diverse in genres, rich in topics, closely following events, discovering and mentioning many new, difficult and pressing issues that have been set out in practice. Most of the participating works have meticulous investment, topics refer to the political, economic, cultural and social fields of the province, especially issues of social concern, and in-depth and generalizable information. Some works written about construction of the Party and protection of the Party's ideological foundation are highly critical. Thereby, clearly demonstrating the political determination, efforts and important results of Hung Yen province in the work of building the Party and political system, in order to contribute to realizing the goal of building a Hung Yen province of fast and sustainable development according to the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress...

Speaking at the award ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that as a part of Vietnam's revolutionary press, Hung Yen press is always a pioneering force, takes the lead and promptly reflects developments in all aspects of social life, the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the People; discovers and encourages new, typical advanced factors in society and achievements in the innovation process of the country in general and Hung Yen province in particular; as a positive force, a pioneer in propagating Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's ideology, contributing to the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, resolutions, programs and the province's socio-economic development plan to reach all classes of people. The press is also an active factor in promoting the image of the homeland, land and people of Hung Yen, and as the shock force of the Party and government in propaganda and advocacy to attract investment to the province to promote the potential and strengths of the province... The 6th Nguyen Van Linh Press Awards 2024 affirms the province's interest, care and honor for journalism work as well as affirming its position and role and importance of journalism in the development of the province.
