The 14th National Congress of the Party continues in-depth discussion of documents
Today, January 21st, the 14th National Congress of the Party continued its discussions in the assembly hall, analyzing and evaluating to further clarify new and breakthrough points in the documents presented to the Congress; at the same time, proposing specific solutions and suggestions to achieve major goals and orientations, especially the growth target.

The draft documents presented to the Congress include: the Draft Political Report of the 13th Central Committee of the Party; the Draft Report summarizing some theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented reform process in Vietnam over the past 40 years; the Draft Report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011 - 2025) and the proposals and orientations for amending and supplementing the Party Charter. In particular, the draft Political Report integrates three reports (Political Report, Socio-Economic Report, and Report summarizing Party building work) into a unified, comprehensive, focused, concise, easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember, and easy-to-implement whole.
During the discussions in the delegations on the afternoon of January 20, delegates generally agreed with and highly appreciated the report of the 13th Party Central Committee on the documents of the 14th Party Congress, and the report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Party Central Committee presented at the Congress. Especially, the report of the 13th Party Central Committee on the documents of the 14th Party Congress summarized the achievements of the 13th Party Congress term; five valuable lessons learned; the development goals for the 2026-2030 period and a vision to 2045.
To realize these goals, the Political Report identifies 12 major orientations; six key tasks and three strategic breakthroughs. The action program has concretized tasks that can be implemented immediately.
The core spirit is condensed into eight important overarching points, focusing on conducting strategic decisions, clearly demonstrating the requirement: Choosing correctly, implementing quickly, doing it thoroughly, and measuring by results.
