On the morning of July 16, the opening ceremony of GO! Hung Yen supermarket was launched in Pho Hien ward. The ceremony drew the attendance of Ms. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Thai Ambassador to Vietnam. On the side of Hung Yen province, in the attendance were comrades: Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Le Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Go! Hung Yen is one of the modern supermarkets with an area of 16,000 m2 with two commercial floors invested by Central Retail Vietnam Group with a total capital of 429 billion VND.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Urawadee Sriphiromya, the Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam, affirmed that this event is not only an important milestone in the process of expanding investment activities of Central Retail Group in Vietnam, but also a vivid demonstration of the increasingly close cooperative relationship between Thailand and Vietnam; especially in the fields of economics, trade and retail. The Ambassador believes that Go! Hung Yen promises to bring local people the modern, quality and convenient shopping experiences; at the same time, create more job opportunities and contribute to boosting economic development of Hung Yen province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia believes that Go! Hung Yen is not only a place for shopping and entertainment but also a place for cultural exchange, a meaningful destination in the region. The construction progress of the Go! Hung Yen supermarket project is 5 months faster than the plan. The opening of GO! Hung Yen supermarket is an important milestone, with the meaning of trade diplomacy between Vietnam and Thailand, contributing to the development of trade and services, improving the quality of people’s lives, increasing revenue for the local budget. He hopes that there will be more unique and quality products of Hung Yen sold at the supermarket so that the supermarket becomes a bridge connecting Hung Yen province's enterprises with Thailand. Hung Yen province will continue to accompany and create favorable conditions for Central Retail Vietnam Group in particular and investors in general to continue investing and developing in Hung Yen; at the same time, he expects this to be the first supermarket opening for many commercial centers of Central Retail Vietnam Group to invest in Hung Yen province.
