Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia visits, presents gifts and offers money to support the demolition of dilapidated houses to meritorious people
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 26, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited, presented gifts and offered money to support Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan, in Bach Dang quarter, Pho Hien ward, to build a house under the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province in 2025".

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan is a person with revolutionary contributions, awarded the Second Class Resistance Medal for her contributions in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Her husband died early, her family's circumstances were difficult, for many years she had to live in a dilapidated house but could not afford to build a new one. Thanks to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the province, Mrs. Lan's family was supported to rebuild the house. After three months of construction, the spacious house of over 70m² was completed in the joy of the family and neighbors.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia presented 100 million VND to support Mrs. Lan's family; at the same time, he kindly visited, encouraged and wished Mrs. Lan and her family good health; continue to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies. He affirmed that in recent years, Hung Yen province has always paid attention to and performed well the work of social security, in which the financial support to eliminate dilapidated houses is one of the outstanding activities, focused on by all levels and sectors, and received the participation and support of many organizations, individuals, and businesses inside and outside the province.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to and perform well the work of "Repaying gratitude" as well as social security work to improve people's lives.
Previously, the local government supported Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lan with 32 million VND to help her complete her house and buy more household items.
